§ 74. Mr. Charles Smithasked the Minister of Labour whether he is satisfied with the proportion of men at Government building trade training centres in the Eastern region, who are receiving instruction in bricklaying and plastering; and, if not, what action he proposes to take to increase the numbers.
§ Mr. IsaacsIn arranging the proportions of training facilities provided in the various trades, due regard is had to the estimated needs of industry. These proportions are adjusted from time to time as experience requires, and recently steps have been taken, after consultation with the industry, to increase the proportion of men receiving instruction in bricklaying and plastering in all regions.
