§ Mr. WilmotThe National Advisory Council for the Motor Manufacturing Industry is a permanent advisory body designed to provide a means of regular consultation between the Government and the motor manufacturers on matters arising from time to time. Its deliberations are confidential and it would not normally be appropriate to publish its proceedings. I will, however, naturally consider in regard to any special reports I may receive from the council whether publication is desirable.
