§ 32. Mr. Dodds-Parkerasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether any increase in pension rates is envisaged for retired pensioners of the various colonial services, to include employees of the British North Borneo Company which is to be taken over by His Majesty's Government.
§ Mr. George HallI would refer the hon. Member to the answer I gave on 29th May to the hon. Member for Kingston-upon-Thames (Mr. Boyd-Carpenter). The question of any increase to the pensions of employees of the British North Borneo Company will be a matter for consideration by the Government of North Borneo when the transfer of administration takes effect.
