§ 43. Mr. Osbert Peakeasked the Prime Minister whether, arising out of the recent 385 meeting of representatives of Dominion Governments, it is proposed to introduce legislation, at an early date, regarding the nationality of married women.
§ The Lord President of the Council (Mr. Herbert Morrison)I have been asked to reply. I would refer the right hon. Gentleman to the reply which my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister gave on 4th June in answer to a Question by my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Cambridge (Major Symonds). Communications have been sent to the Dominion Governments, which were represented at the recent meeting of Prime Ministers, and any further statement must await the receipt of their replies.
