Ordered That in the case of the West Sussex County Council Bill [Lords], so much of Standing Order 115 as provides that the Committee of Selection shall give not less than Seven days' notice, by publication with the Votes and Proceedings of the House or otherwise, of the week in which it is necessary for a Member to be in attendance for the purpose of serving as a member of a Committee on an opposed Private Bill be suspended, and that the Committee of Selection have leave to appoint the Committee on the Bill to sit next week.' —[Mr. Tom Smith.]
