§ 36. Mr. Willisasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Civil Aviation why one month's notice is required for charter flights to India; and whether, in view of the potential loss of traffic as a result of consequent delays, he will consider reducing it.
Mr. ThomasAmple notice is required for these long distance flights as the concurrence of the Governments of the territories concerned has to be obtained. It has been found in practice that a period of one month is necessary.
