§ Sir B. SmithGift foodstuffs continue to arrive in this country from the Dominions and Colonies. Except in the case of perishable foods, they are distributed without charge and as an addition to the rations to aged and needy people through the agency of local authorities, and direct to hospitals, charitable institutions and workers' rehabilitation centres.
