29. Mr. McKieasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will make a statement regarding the offer to his department by the Royal Burgh of Wigtown of ground for factory sites.
§ Sir S. CrippsI have been informed by the Royal Burgh of Wigtown that there is land available in the Burgh for the erection of factories. My Regional Officers will consider any application by an industrial firm for a building licence to erect a small factory in the area.
