§ Sir S. CrippsAbout 130 boot and shoe factories are recorded as remaining wholly or partly under requisition. The requisitioned space is being released progressively as the material and labour situation makes it practicable. Very substantial progress has already been made. All the factories will not be released by the time the Essential Works Order is removed.
