§ 18. Captain Bullockasked the Secretary of. State for Foreign Affairs when the first volume of the official publication dealing with the years between the wars will be published; and which years will be dealt with in this volume.
§ Mr. BevinAs previously announced, this publication is being divided into two series in order to make available as soon as possible documents dealing with events most relevant to the outbreak of war. The arrangements for the publication of the first volume of the second series are in hand, and it is hoped that this volume will appear in the next few months. This volume will cover the year 1930, overlapping at the beginning and end of 1929 and 1931.
§ 19. Captain Bullockasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if the volume of the official publications dealing with the period of the Munich negotiations when published will contain documents relating to the views of the Dominions at that time.
§ Mr. BevinIn view of the large scale of this publication and of the number of papers involved, the selection of documents dealing with the years 1938-1939 has not yet been made The editors have in mind the point raised by the hon. and gallant Member, not merely in relation to the Munich negotiations but to other subjects dealt with in the series. It would of course be necessary to consult the Dominion Governments in the matter.
