asked the Minister of War Transport whether he has now com- municated with the Westminster City Council, as promised, about the lighting of the lamps near the Palace of Westminster; and with what result.

Yes, Sir. And I am now considering the information which the Westminster City Council have submitted to me.

Mr. Keeling

Is the Minister aware that some of the lamp lighters, after turning out the lamps, have performed the useful service of delivering, in time for breakfast, Votes and Order Papers to hon. Members who live in Westminster?
