§ Mr. SparksIs the Minister aware that although the railways are by far our safest means of travel, there is anxiety regarding the number of recent accidents; and that for more than 30 years officials of his Department inspecting railway accidents have repeatedly recommended certain measures that should be adopted? Will he look into these recommendations to see to what extent they can be adopted for the safer working of our railways?
