§ 29. Flight-Lieutenant Haireasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs how frequently changes have been made "in the office of Head of the Southern Department in the Foreign Office during the past two years; and what was the length of time each occupant held the post.
Mr. McNeilThere has been only one such change and that was in August, 1945. The previous head of the Southern Department had held the post for four years.
