§ Mr. J. HyndYes, Sir, private individuals in this country may now send newspapers and periodicals direct to individuals in the British zone of Germany and the British sector of Berlin. Details of the revised scheme are being published by the Postmaster-General. Similar arrangements, in respect of English language newspapers and periodicals, have been made in all Empire countries, India and the United States of America.

§ Mr. HyndBooks, at the present time, can be sent to Germany through the Save Europe Now Scheme, and there is no immediate extension of the facilities contemplated at the moment.
