Major Tufton Beamishasked the Prime Minister what progress has been made in consultation with Dominion Governments concerning the award of campaign stars and medals; how far these discussions have gone towards finding a solution to the anomalies which have arisen concerning these awards; and when he expects to be able to make a final announcement as to the decisions that have been reached.

The scheme which is under consideration has been put to the Dominion and Indian Governments, and most, but not all, the replies have been received. My right hon.
