§ Mr. Georģe HallUniversal adult suffrage for the purpose of central government elections is in force in Ceylon, Jamaica and Trinidad. It has recently also been adopted in Trinidad for the purpose of electing county councillors. I am keeping in mind the desirability of extending this principle in other areas as and when circumstances permit and new constitutions are established.
