§ Mr. IsaacsI assume my hon. Friend is referring to Eire. There must necessarily be some delay in these cases before permission to travel can be given owing to the inquiries which have to be made in Great Britain and in Eire, but it is only in exceptional cases that this amounts to several months. The possibility of adjusting the arrangements to avoid delays is under constant examination.
