HC Deb 10 April 1946 vol 421 c1935
Mr. Churchill

Has the Leader of the House any statement to make about the Business on Friday?

The Lord President of the Council (Mr. Herbert Morrison)

The House will recall that last Thursday I made a statement about the proposal to alter the hours of sitting. The necessary Motion to amend the Order of the House will appear on the Order Paper tomorrow and we propose to take the Motion as first Order on Friday.

After the consideration of the United Nations Bill [Lords] we also desire on Friday to take the Lords Amendments to the Police Bill, and then the Second Reading of the Post Office and Telegraph (Money) Bill.
