HC Deb 04 April 1946 vol 421 c1370
13. Mr. Lavers

asked the Minister of Health whether, in view of the threatened brick famine, he will consider advising local authorities on the merits of houses constructed in concrete and by other nontraditional means, particularly those systems which have had the approval of the Burt Committee.

Mr. Bevan

I have already issued one circular, of which I am sending my hon. Friend a copy, giving local authorities particulars of permanent prefabricated houses which have been approved, and I will issue further advice from time to time.
