HC Deb 04 April 1946 vol 421 cc1397-8
63. Mr. Dumpleton

asked the Minister of Labour whether the Government accepts the recommendations made in the Report of the Committee on the Juvenile Employment Service.

Mr. Ness Edwards

Yes, Sir. The Government have accepted in general the recommendations made in this report. The Central Juvenile Employment Executive has now been set up as recommended in the report and will proceed to implement the recommendations so far as that can be done without legislation. Certain of the recommendations, however, require legislation, and this will be introduced when circumstances permit.
