§ Mr. StracheyThe present figure, for Royal Air Force Squadrons, is already over 50. It is impossible to give an exact figure of the number of men which this represents. But I repeat that it is calculated that at the height of the trooping programme some 40 per cent. of the whole of the Royal Air Force will be engaged directly or indirectly on the transportation task.
