§ Mr. BevinThe Regent continues to act as Prime Minister. I regret to say that all His Beatitude's efforts to persuade the political parties to set up a stable government have so far proved unsuccessful. As a result of this continued uncertainty, improvement in the social and economic situation is delayed.
