Resolution reported: That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session relating to finance, it is expedient to authorise

  1. (a) the payment out of the Consolidated Fund of any sums required for making payments of, or on account of, sums payable tinder Section twenty-eight of the Finance Act, 1941 (which provides for the repay- 518 ment after the war of certain excess profits tax);
  2. (b) the borrowing of money under the National Loans Act, 1939, for the purposes of providing the sums so issued."

Resolution agreed to.
