47. Lieut.-Colonel Martin Lindsayasked the Prime Minister when he hopes to be in a position to make a statement on the Government's policy in relation to atomic energy; and when the House will have an opportunity to debate this subject.
§ The Prime MinisterA full statement of the Government's policy on this subject cannot be made until the international aspects have been discussed with the United States and Canadian Governments. In the meantime, I do not think a Debate could usefully take place; but a statement will be made as soon as possible.
