Graham Kerr) on 17th October discussions, which are not yet concluded, are proceeding with representatives of the British North Borneo (Chartered) Company regarding the assumption by His Majesty's Government of direct responsibility for administration of North Borneo. I am not however able to make a detailed statement at present.
