63 Mr. McKieasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if, in view of the decision of the Eire Government to tax all allowances paid by Britain to members of His Majesty's Forces from Eire, which decision being retrospective is causing hard ship and inconvenience, he will consider making some form of taxation relief to members of the Forces so affected.
§ Mr. DaltonThese allowances are not charged to United Kingdom Income Tax and I cannot, therefore, give tax relief in respect of them.
