§ Mr. IsaacsI am sending my hon. Friend a statement showing how the main recommendations of the Committee on Higher Appointments have been implemented, and I am arranging for a copy to be placed in the Library of the House.
§ Mr. MikardoIs my right hon. Friend aware that some of the recommendations in the Report conflict with the views of the managerial, scientific and technical trade unions, and does he propose to consult them before framing his final proposals?
§ Mr. IsaacsIf that particular trade union, to which my hon. Friend refers, makes some communication to me, I shall be glad to look into the point, but I have not heard of it before.
