§ 92. Mr. Belcherasked the Under-Secretary of Air if the Japanese campaign allowance is to be continued beyond 31st December, 1945; and if he will make a statement for the information of the R.A.F. personnel in S.E.A.A.F.
§ Mr. StracheyAt present I can only say that we do not propose to discontinue Japanese Campaign Pay at the end of this year.
§ Mr. BelcherIs my hon. Friend aware that there is a rumour amongst R.A.F. personnel in South Burma to the effect that the campaign pay is to stop at the end of this year, and will he take steps to see that that rumour is corrected?
§ Mr. StracheyYes; if my hon. Friend will give me particulars, we will certainly look into it.
