§ 46. Mr. Stokesasked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster how many copies of the "British Zone Review," published fortnightly, are printed for circulation; and whether he will arrange to have a copy placed in the Library.
§ The Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster (Mr. John Hynd)Fifteen thousand copies. I have arranged for a copy to be placed in the Reading Room.
§ Mr. StokesIs this paper also circulating amongst such of the German population as are English-speaking, or is it made available to them? It is very important that it should be.
§ Mr. HyndI am not aware of the actual arrangements for distribution in our zone in Germany, but it is the common policy within the zone that English newspapers of all kinds shall be handed over to English-speaking Germans for their education.
