§ 13. Colonel Stoddart-Scottasked the Minister of Labour if he is aware that the Wool Control has declined to recommend a sailor for demobilisation, Class B, on age grounds only and, in view of the specific assurance given to the hon. Member for Pudsey and Otley on 29th October, 1945, that the age of an individual did not make him ineligible for release in Class B, what steps he is taking to bring to the notice of the Wool Control all the details of the demobilisation scheme.
§ Mr. IsaacsI am not aware of the case to which the hon. and gallant Member refers, but if he will send me particulars I will make inquiries. Full details of the demobilisation scheme have been brought to the attention of the Wool Control by the Board of Trade.
