§ Mr. BevanI do not think that the appointment of a dietitian is necessary in every hospital nor have I power to require it. Such an appointment is, however, recommended wherever thought desirable by my advisers on dietetics who have visited' about 700 hospitals and similar institutions in the last eighteen months.
