HC Deb 19 November 1945 vol 416 c22 The following Question stood upon the Order Paper in the name of Earl WINTERTON: 51. To ask the Minister of Agriculture, if he is aware that owners of felled woodlands and worn-out coppice land in the southern counties would like, where circumstances are favourable, to convert the areas in question into fruit or arable land; and if he will arrange with the War Department to sell bulldozers no longer required for military purposes to W.A.E.C.s so that they may be hired by landowners for this purpose.
Earl Winterton

To save time, Mr. Speaker, I will not ask the next Question, No. 51 orally, but have it treated as a written Question.
