§ 24. Mr. Longdenasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if, at the next meeting of the Allied Supreme Council, he will propose that the Governments of the Big Five should make fresh and explicit statements concerning their territorial objectives.
Mr. Noel-BakerI sympathise with my hon. Friends' desire that the Allied Governments should make explicit statements about their territorial claims. As, however, there is no Allied Supreme Council, I am afraid the matter cannot be dealt with as he suggests.
