Motion made, and Question proposed,

"That for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to make provision with respect to the rent of houses or parts thereof let at a rent which includes payment for the use of furniture or for services, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of—
  1. (a) such remuneration and travelling and other allowances of members and acting members of any tribunal constituted under the said Act, and such salaries and allowances of the clerk and other officers and servants of any such tribunal, as the Minister of Health, with the consent of the Treasury, may determine; and
  2. (b) such other expenses of any such tribunal as the Treasury may determine.—(King's Recommendation signified.)—[Mr. Bevan.]
