§ 25. Mr. Parkerasked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that the child welfare centre at Up Minster has been closed; that this causes great inconvenience to mothers in the neighbourhood; and whether steps will be taken to reopen it.
§ Mr. WillinkI understand that the centre re-opened on 16th May and is housed temporarily in a local school. The lease of the previous accommodation could not be extended and every effort is being made to secure suitable permanent premises.
