§ 45. General Sir George Jeffreysasked the Prime Minister whether he will consider changing the designation of the Minister of Health to Minister of Health and Local Government, in view of the fact that it is often not realised that this Minister is responsible for many aspects of local government in addition to health.
§ The Prime Minister (Mr. Churchill)Personally I never liked the change from "President of the Local Government Board" to "Minister of Health." But I think it would be a great mistake to make another change now.
