HC Deb 22 March 1945 vol 409 c989
60. Sir G. Acland-Troyte

asked the Minister of Town and Country Planning whether his attention has been drawn to the sale by the War Office of huts erected on searchlight sites, etc.; and whether he will arrange, either that all such erections shall be removed by the War Office, or that no sale shall take place until the planning authority has been consulted.

The Minister of Town and Country Planning (Mr. W. S. Morrison)

The answer to the first part of the Question is, "Yes, Sir"; but it is not practicable to adopt the suggestion in the second part.
