asked the Secretary of State for War if he will state the position as to pay and demobilisation of men transferred to the Army from the R.A.F.

All their reckonable service in the R.A.F. will count when their age and service groups are being calculated and they will be eligible for release with these groups under the normal rules. They receive the same rate of pay as they were receiving in the R.A.F. before they transferred and in general will retain that rate as a vested right unless and until the appropriate rate of pay under Army Regulations becomes more favourable.
