3. Wing-Commander Jamesasked the President of the Board of Trade, whether some relaxation can be made in the existing regulations to enable remittances to be made to Italian women of British birth out of their assets in this country.
§ Mr. DaltonYes, Sir, I have now authorised such remittances to be made to British-born women who have acquired Italian nationality by marriage, provided that their conduct has not been opposed to the interests of the United Nations. These payments will be on the same scale as for British subjects resident in Italy.
