HC Deb 15 March 1945 vol 409 cc394-5
73. Dr. Little

asked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware of the dissatisfaction in Campbell College Military Hospital, Belfast, at the inadequate supply of food for the patients who are forced to supplement their rations from outside sources at their own expense, and at the disciplinary code; and whether he will take immediate steps to have these grievances removed.

The Financial Secretary to the War Office (Mr. Arthur Henderson)

I am unaware of any such dissatisfaction among patients in the hospital. I am, however, having these complaints investigated.

Dr. Little

Will the Minister have an immediate inquiry made into the whole matter, in justice to our wounded soldiers?

Mr. Henderson

I have just told my hon. Friend that we are going into the matter.
