§ 35. Major Sir Jocelyn Lucasasked the First Lord of the Admiralty in view of the fact that it has been decided that Army 220 officers are to retain on retirement the highest acting or temporary rank held in the present war, provided that the period for which the rank was held was not less than six months, have similar arrangements been made for Naval officers.
