Mr. De la Bèreasked the Minister of Agriculture whether, in view of the fact that many farmers have carried out their cropping orders made by the war agricultural executive committees, but now find that they will no longer be able to do so in view of the shortage of labour, he, in conjunction with the Minister of Labour, will take steps to provide additional labour throughout the present year.
Mr. HudsonMan-power requirements in agriculture in relation to the food production programme are kept under constant review by the Government, and everything possible will be done to provide the labour needed.
