§ 13. Mr. Walter Edwardsasked the Minister of Labour what steps are being taken to inform members of the Forces while they are still serving of the arrangements made to assist in their resettlement after release.
§ Mr. BevinAs I stated in reply to a Question by my hon. Friend the Member for Bournemouth (Sir L. Lyle) on 1st March, a booklet entitled "Release and Resettlement" will shortly be issued to all serving members of the Forces. In addition I have arranged, in agreement with my colleagues, to send 15 officers from my Department to meet men and women of the Forces who are stationed abroad in various theatres of war, including Europe, the Middle East, India and Burma. These officers will explain and discuss on the spot the resettlement plans which are described in the booklet.
