HC Deb 04 June 1945 vol 411 c646

Considered in Committee.

[Mr. CHARLES WILLIAMS in the Chair]

6.52 p.m.

Clauses 1 and 2 ordered to stand part of the Bill.

Bill reported, without Amendment.

Motion made, and Question proposed, "That the Bill be now read the Third time."

The Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Education (Mrs. Cazalet Keir)

My right hon. Friend explained on the Second Reading the object of the Bill and why it was necessary. As Members on all sides have welcomed it, I do not think it is necessary to do more now than say I hope it will receive its Third Reading.

Question put, and agreed to.

Bill accordingly read the Third time, and passed, without Amendment.
