asked the Secretary of State for Air if he is aware that the uncertainty of post-war requirements for British ocean-going aircraft in respect of the carrying of lifeboats is hindering British designers in their post-war designs compared with the instructions given to designers in the U.S.A.; and will he expedite a decision on this matter.
