§ Mr. Arthur GreenwoodMay I ask my right hon. Friend the Foreign Secretary if he has any further statement to make about the Business for next week?
§ The Secretary of State for Foregn Affairs (Mr. Eden)Yes, Sir, and it is the outcome of an undertaking I gave yesterday, when we were discussing Business. My right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer will have a few remarks of a financial nature to make on the Report stage of the Votes of Credit next Wednesday. Afterwards, subject to your Ruling, Mr. Speaker, I thought it might be possible then to raise the question of the posting of members of the A.T.S. overseas. As the House is aware, we also proposed that day to take the Second Reading of the Local Authorities Loans Bill, and I hope it will be possible to complete the Report stage of the Votes of Credit by about 3 o'Clock and then to go on to the Second Reading of this Bill.
§ Mr. KirkwoodCannot the right hon. Gentleman make arrangements for us to have a Debate on the redundancy of war workers?
§ Mr. EdenI said yesterday that I would take note of that, but I have no statement to make about it to-day. For the moment I am only correcting next week's Business.
