HC Deb 18 January 1945 vol 407 c337
2. Major Neven-Spence

asked the Minister of Labour whether he is prepared to secure the release of key men in the printing, engraving and binding trades employed by the medical group of publishers in order to overcome the serious decline in the production of medical books.

The Minister of Labour (Mr. Ernest Bevin)

I am not aware that publishers of medical books are prevented by labour difficulties from making full use of the paper available to them, but if the hon. Member will let me have particulars of any case in which this is not so I will make inquiries.
