§ Sir J. GriggI would refer my hon. Friend to the table I circulated with the reply I gave a number of hon. Members on 7th November. As stated in that answer, this table was intended only for general guidance to Commanders overseas, with whom in all cases the final decision rests.
§ 21. Mr. Turtonasked the Secretary of State for War whether provision is made for the granting of compassionate or privilege leave to France to soldiers whose parents reside in France and who have not seen their parents since the outbreak of war.
