§ 80. Mr. Fosterasked the Minister of Information if he has now given further consideration to the advisability of lifting the ban on the import and export of the "Watch Tower" and similar publications; and if he has any further statement to make.
81. Mr. Murrayasked the Minister of Information if he will reconsider the position in regard to the reception in this country of the "Watch Tower" publications, in view of the change in the military situation and the decisions taken in other countries.
§ The Minister of Information (Mr. Brendan Bracken)The matter has been fully reviewed and in future no special restrictions will be imposed on these publications. Their import into this country will, however, remain subject to the current import licensing policy.
