HC Deb 28 February 1945 vol 408 c1380
64. Mr. Mack

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of War Transport whether steps will be taken to prevent the victimisation of 14 Polish seamen, stationed at Birkenhead, and supporters of the Provisional Government in Poland, by the Polish Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Shipping, which has withheld from the men payment of reserve pay and will no longer direct them to work on Polish ships.

The Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of War Transport (Mr. Noel-Baker)

I am making inquiries and I will communicate with my hon. Friend.
